Grey lynn house
Perched on the edge of Grey Lynn Park, this project began with our clients’ purchase of a run-down villa. After careful consideration, they chose to sell the existing home for relocation and pursue a new-build, realising their vision of a bespoke family residence.
The brief called for a unique five-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a home theatre, swimming pool, and ample garaging. The final design blends steel and brick, featuring both internal and external steel windows and doors, rich hardwood parquet floors, and a striking red brick exterior.
On the ground floor, a generous open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area flows effortlessly through Crittall steel doors to the outdoor entertaining space and pool. Interior Crittall doors separate the open-plan zone from a formal sitting room, creating two distinct lounge spaces for family and guests. Upstairs, the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms offer serene views over the park, ensuring comfort and privacy throughout.
Completed within a year, this new-build Grey Lynn home perfectly balances modern functionality with timeless design — leaving our clients absolutely thrilled with the result.
